We're thrilled to announce that Tali AI has been selected as a pre-qualified vendor for Canada Health Infoway's groundbreaking AI Scribe Program! This exciting initiative aims to reduce administrative burden on primary care providers across Canada through innovative AI documentation solutions.
Canada Health Infoway’s national AI Scribe Program is designed to support eligible family physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses in remote communities, and paediatricians who deliver longitudinal care in the community. These clinicians are often overwhelmed by growing administrative demands, especially documentation, and the program provides a practical, secure solution to ease that load.
Each eligible primary care clinician will receive a one-year licence for an AI-powered scribe that transcribes and summarises clinical encounters in real time. These tools help capture important clinical details, like medical history, treatment plans, and patient concerns, directly from conversations during appointments. That means more accurate notes, better structured data, and less time spent typing or dictating at the end of the day.
Through this program, up to 10,000 eligible primary care clinicians will receive a fully funded, one-year licence for a trusted AI-powered scribe solution designed to automate documentation and free up time for patient care.
The program specifically targets primary care providers (PCPs) including:
Family physicians
Nurse practitioners
Registered nurses in remote communities
Pediatricians who provide longitudinal care in the community
The program officially opens for enrollment in June 2025. Primary care clinicians can express interest now to stay updated on launch dates, regional availability, and how to access their fully funded licence.

Medical documentation continues to be one of the most significant contributors to physician burnout. Studies consistently show that providers spend up to half their workday on administrative tasks rather than patient care. The AI Scribe Program directly addresses this challenge by providing cutting-edge AI assistance to transform documentation workflows.
Dr. Michael Chen, a family physician in Vancouver who participated in early testing, shares: "Using AI documentation support has cut my charting time by 40%. I can finally focus more on my patients and less on my computer."
The AI Scribe Program will open enrollment in June 2025, with licenses allocated on a first-come, first-served basis within regional allocations. With a limited supply of 10,000 licenses available across Canada, interested primary care clinicians are encouraged to register early.
Eligible primary care clinicians can take advantage of this opportunity by:
