Canada Health Infoway’s AI Scribe Program is now accepting registrations from eligible primary care clinicians across Canada. This national initiative provides up to 10,000 fully funded, one-year licenses for pre-qualified AI-powered documentation tools that help reduce administrative burden and improve clinical workflows.
These tools use AI and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to help capture clinical conversations, generate structured notes, and streamline documentation, freeing up valuable time for clinicians to focus on delivering care.
Eligible primary care clinicians include:
Family physicians
Nurse practitioners
Registered nurses in remote communities
Pediatricians delivering longitudinal, community-based care
This initiative ensures eligible primary care clinicians have access to trusted, pre-qualified AI Scribe vendors that meet national standards and unique regional needs, ensure secure data sharing, support clinical practice requirements, and align with the Shared Pan-Canadian Interoperability Roadmap.
