TL;DR

This week’s update is focused on improving note quality, reducing manual editing, and helping you keep your workflow moving throughout the clinical day.

From AI-assisted SOAP template customization, to adding labs and imaging directly into encounters, to previewing forms during visits and protecting recordings during internet interruptions, these updates are designed to help documentation feel smoother and more reliable from start to finish.

This Week

One thing we hear consistently from clinicians is that note quality matters just as much as speed.

Saving time only helps if the output actually reflects how you want to document.

That’s why we continue to prioritize:

This week’s updates are focused on helping Tali better adapt to how you already work, while reducing friction during documentation, forms, and follow-up tasks.

And as always, many of these improvements come directly from conversations with clinicians using Tali every day.

If there’s something you wish Tali could do better, reply directly to the email or reach out anytime at product@tali.ai. We read every message.

Better SOAP Note Customization

Customizing SOAP templates should not require trial and error, manual instruction writing, or repeatedly tweaking outputs to get the structure you want.

We’ve introduced a new AI-assisted customization experience for supported SOAP templates.

Instead of manually editing template logic, you can now describe changes in plain language, preview how future notes will look, and refine the structure or tone before saving.

You can customize:

The goal is to make personalization faster, easier, and more accurate over time, while reducing the amount of manual editing required after encounters.

Add Labs and Imaging to Your Encounter

Important clinical context often exists outside the conversation itself.

You can now add lab results, imaging reports, PDFs, patient history, and supporting documents directly into encounters as additional context.

Tali can also extract relevant information from uploaded files and incorporate it into your notes.

This helps generate more complete documentation without manually re-entering details across systems.

We’re gradually rolling this out and will notify you in Tali once it becomes available for your account.

Preview Forms During the Visit

Long forms often create extra work after the encounter ends, especially when important details were never captured during the visit.

You can now preview supported forms while the encounter is still recording.

This allows you to review the form requirements in real time and naturally capture the information needed while speaking with the patient, instead of searching through charts and notes afterward.

Once the encounter finishes, Tali uses the transcript to help generate the completed form.

Offline Encounters

Internet interruptions should not put documentation at risk.

Tali now continues recording through dropped connections and temporary cloud outages, helping protect encounters from being interrupted by connectivity issues.

Offline Encounters are now available on web and desktop, with support for additional platforms rolling out over the coming days.
